Services for Dorothy Faith Blount, 66, of Harker Heights will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights. Mrs. Blount died Jan. 22, 2010, at a Temple hospital.
She was born on Jan. 7, 1944, to Harlan and Pearl Hudson Shinkle in Elwood, Ind. She married Warren Blount Sr. on Feb. 2, 1963, in Marshall, Ariz.
She was a member of the American Pool Players Association for 20 years. She worked in the cafeteria at Manor Middle School in Killeen from 1986 until her retirement in 2007.
Survivors include her husband, Warren Blount Sr. of Harker Heights; four sons, Anthony Blount of Indiana, Warren Blount Jr. of Killeen, Deon Blount of Noblesville, Ind., and Nicholas Blount of Franklin Va.; two brothers, Robert Shinkle of Georgia and Lester Shinkle of Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is at 9 a.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights, which is in charge of arrangements.
