Adams, a retired OG&E employee, served one term as mayor, resigning in 1948. Born in Boston, MA, he came to Oklahoma City in 1916. He is survived by his wife, Mamie, of the home at 904 NW 91; three daughters (step-daughters), Mrs Eileen Corbett, 1204 NW 92; Mrs Love Brown, Rogers, AR; and Mrs Dove Brown, northwest of city.
