My Great Grand Father, worked in the Chicago stockyards, was a farmer in Indiana and a storekeeper in Illinois. According to family (my great grandfather) Henry Johnson, had wanted a boy but had two girls, Leona and Elenor, Elenor was a Tomboy so the nickname Tom stuck, when his daughter Leona had two girls Delores (my mother) and Barbara, he was still hoping for a boy in the family. I was the first great grandchild of Henry's and a boy, my mother said they had to lock the doors to the hospital because he was so overjoyed that he kept visiting. In the 1950's I spent many summers with Grandma (Mary) and Grampa Johnson at their farm in Mitchell, IN
