Billy Anne Dorsett passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Arcadia Methodist Hospital.

She was born January 7, 1922 in South Pasadena. She graduated from South Pasadena High School and resided her entire life in LA County in the cities of South Pasadena, San Gabriel, Arcadia and Duarte.

On January 13, 1950, she married the love of her life Walker C. "Bill" Dorsett. They were married for fifty-fuve years until his passing.

Billy loved to bowl, play bridge, golf, ski, travel, socialize, and dance.. She treasured creating parties and getting family and/or friends together for special occasions and succeeded in nurturing four wonderful foreign exchange students Jeff, Terry, Nay, and Manijeh who became family and called her Mom.

Billy was survived by two children, Ron and Ken, three grandchildren, and a growing number of great-grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Memorial services will take place on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 10:45 a.m. in the Sky Rose Chapel at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier.
