DEATH TAKES YOUNG LAD
Half Brother of Mrs. Sam K. Schwartz Dies
Decatur- Nov. 11 - Leo Robert Springer, five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Springer, 1014 Patterson St., died at the Adams county memorial hospital at 8:08 a.m. Friday morning. Death was due to peritonitis, and gangrene of the bowels.
The child was born in Adams County on Feb. 8, 1930 and was a son of John and Susie Springer. Surviving besides the parents are the grandmother, Mrs. Levi Gross of Decatur, two brothers and two sisters, Homer, Virginia, Calvin and Marjorie Springer, all at home and the following half-brothers and half-sisters: Delphie Rice of Kendallville; Ethel Ellis, Weston, Ohio; Lawrence Deems of Kalamazoo, Mich.; Mrs. Dan Death, Decatur; Mrs. Sam K. Schwartz, Berne; William Springer of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and Frank Leroy Deems of Fort Wayne.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home on Patterson street and at 2 o'clock at the Gospel Tabernacle. Burial was made in Ray Cemetery at Monroe.
