Bert Charles Adams, 77, a well-known North Havre farmer died Saturday at Northern Montana Hospital.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Jude's Catholic Church with the Rev. Jack Harrington officiating Rosary services will be Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. at the Holland and Bonine Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery.

Adams was born to William and Bertha Strum Adams in Seven Persons, Alberta on January 28,1912. He moved to Fresno, Mont. with his parents to homestead. On Aug. 6,1938 he married Eva Hary in Havre and together they farmed north of Havre. He also worked at the local John Deere dealership for 16 years, until 1954.

He is survived by his wife, north of Havre, a son Larry Adams of Havre, and three grandchildren, Joe Fournier, Angela Adams, and Addie Adams of Havre.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter Sandra Fournier; and a brother Quincy Adams.

The family has requested that memorials may be made to the St. Jude's School or to a person's choice.
