She was born Sept. 19, 1921, in Donelson, Tenn., daughter of John Minor and Nellie Ann Smith Anderson. She and D.B. Harris were married May 6, 1949.
She was a graduate of Berry College in Mount Berry, Ga. and had been a home economics teacher at Matthews, Oran and Kelly schools. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Karen Reecht, Ruth Harris-Flores and Barbara Infante; a son, Jim Harris; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and sisters.
Funeral service will be held at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Burial will be in the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
