Byron Richard "Dick" Coltrin, 84, of Edmonds, WA died October 23, 2011 in Edmonds from illness associated with prostate cancer.
He was born February 17, 1927 in Los Angeles, CA and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science degree in Personnel Administration. He was a loving father and an excellent provider for his family throughout his life, working as a territorial sales manager and serving in the Army Reserve, retiring with the rank of Lt. Colonel. Dick served in various leadership callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and also enjoyed serving in the Seattle Temple over the past 30 years.
Dick was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Betty Elcock Coltrin; granddaughter, Sarah Elisabeth Cooper; and his brother, Edwin Coltrin.
He is survived by his 3 daughters, 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; his two sisters.
