Born in Midland, Feb. 19, 1900, he was a lifelong resident of the community. He retired in 1965 from the Dow Chemical Company where he worked in the evaporator department.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Woodcock; seven sons, including Douglas, Dale, Dennis, Paul, Ray and Roy, all of Midland, and Jack of North Hollywood, Calif., also four daughters, Mrs. Joyce Hull and Mrs. Jean Konsdorf, both of Midland; Mrs. Arthur (Lois) Stockham and Mrs. Max (Betty) Cavender, both of Battle Creek; four brothers, Wilbur, Earl, Frank and Herbert Woodcock, all of Midland, three sisters, Miss Grace Woodcock, Mrs. Forest Taylor and Mrs. Milton Ginter, all of Midland, and 23 grandchildren.
