BEUTER, Doris Grayce, age 89 of Presque Isle, died Thursday October 20, 2011 following a brief illness. Doris was born July 9, 1922 in Detroit, MI to Milton R. and Bessie (Summerville) Underwood and has lived in the Presque Isle area since the late 1980's, moving from the Detroit metro area. On January 25, 1941 she married Robert Beuter in Ohio. She was a member of the Presque Isle Women's Club and the Red Hat Ladies. She really loved spending time in and around the water, loved to travel, spending her winters in Florida, and playing mahjong. Surviving are her loving husband of 70 years, Robert, four children Richard (Bonnie) Beuter, Robert (Sandy) Beuter, Jr. both of Presque Isle, MI, Chuck (Judy) Beuter of Davisburg, MI, Judy Davis (Gary Nowak) of Lake Worth, FL, 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Thelma J. McGoldrick and a brother Milton R. Underwood, Jr.
Doris is at McWilliams Funeral Home, Alpena where friends may call on Friday from 4:00–8:00 p.m. and on Saturday October 22, 2011 at Presque Isle Community Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon with Rev.
