The picture posted on website with John Spurlin and his wife was actually his wife Emma Lee Hyatt Spurlin. She is the only wife he ever had. It is suggested that he was married to other wives, those other "wives" were not his "wives" but other family members.
Listed as his children one of his sons is missing from your list. Walter Kenneth Spurlin was their youngest son born on October 27, 1926.
