Funeral services for Wiley C. Parker, who died Wednesday at his home on Headland, route three after a short illness were held from Bethlehem Church at 2 p. m. Thursday. Burial was in the church cemetery with Solomon Funeral Home of Headland dircting.
Mr. Parker, who was a World War I veteran, had been a lifelong resident of the Headland community.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Odell, Royce, and Wiley Parker, Jr.; two daughters, Misses Ruth and Nell Parker; two brothers, O. K. Parker, Headland and E. A. Parker, Blakely, Ga.; seven sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Porter, Dothan, Mrs. Bertie Richardson, Headland, Mrs. Laura Hickman, Mrs. Fronie Roberson and Mrs. Cannie Locke, Ashford, Mrs. Allie Gentry and Mrs. Callie Gentry, Cottondale, Fla., and a number of nieces and nephews.
Active pallbears were Rupert Hamm, Rob Rash, James Huff, Jim Richardson and Otis Parker.
