Grace E. Doody, 81, of Fairfield, Maine, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2005, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Thayer Campus, Waterville, Maine. She was born in Presque Isle, Maine on April 2, 1924, the daughter of the late Alexander and Maude (Brown) Doak. She was a graduate of Presque Isle High School, class of 1939.
Grace married McKinley "Mac" Doody on May 13, 1946, and they have shared 59 wonderful years together.
She was employed as a packer for 28 years at Keyes Fibre Company in Waterville before retiring in 1986. Grace attended the First Baptist Church in Fairfield.
She was predeceased by a daughter Patricia Doody in 1946, and several brothers and sisters.
Grace is survived by her husband of 59 years McKinley "Mac" Doody of Fairfield; her three children Richard Doody of Waterville, Maine, Sharon Hiscock and her husband Brian of North Jay, Maine and Debbie Doody of Worcester, MA.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends..
