George Richard O'Hara, 67, of Georgetown, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, at his residence.

Graveside memorial services will be Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005, at 3:30 p.m. at Prince George Winyah Episcopal Church. The Rev. Paul C. Fuener will officiate. Mayer Funeral Home, Georgetown Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. O'Hara was born June 8, 1938, in Atlanta, Ga., a son of the late Richard O'Hara and Esther Juanita Richardson O'Hara. He graduated from N.C. State University. He worked for International Paper Company before starting his own chemical supply company. He also was a real estate agent and an employee of U.S. Security Associates. Mr. O'Hara was a member of the Cotillion Club of Georgetown and the Ribbon Club of Georgetown.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Falconer Hazzard O'Hara of Georgetown; two sons, G. Richard O'Hara Jr. of Alamogorda, N.M., and R. Joseph O'Hara of Georgetown; a daughter Elizabeth G. O'Hara of Georgetown; and two brothers, Douglas Richardson O'Hara of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Joseph Leslie O'Hara of Pawleys Island.
