John F Kayea, 59, died May 27 in Sharon hospital. He was born in Ausable Forks April 22, 1912, the son of Freeman & Amy Votraw Kayea. He married the former Aileen Drown in Plattsburgh in 1941. She survives, as do three daughters, Mrs. Allen (Karen) Macking, Panama Canal Zoe; Mrs. John (Colleen) Butts, Amenia; Miss Kim Kayea, at home; a son, John K Kayea, Wassaic; two sisters, Mrs. David (Evelyn) Snye, Hudson Falls; Mrs. Wilfred (Florence) Rushia, Ausable Forks; two brothers, Raymond, Elnora; Desmond, Wassaic; five grandchildren.
