Arther Benjamin Coonrod, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Coonrod, was born at Buffalo, Ind. Sept. 12, 1892; died at Albuquergue, N.M., Feb. 8, 1913, aged 20 years, 4 months and 26 days. His parents moved to Michigan Ciry about ten years ago, where he grew up, attending high school for some time and later the night session of the Michigan City business college. He became a member of the Christian church of Michigan City May 24, 1906, and was on of the first young men to be enrolled in the Bible class of the Sunday school, of which he was a member at the time of his death.
He had been in the employ of a constructive company in New Mexico and died in a hospital at Albuquerque, death being due to blood clot on the brain. The remains were brought to the home of his parents in Michigan City where brief services were held, after which they were accompanied by about 25 relatives and near friends to Buffalo, where services were held Wednesday at the Christian church by Rev. G.F. Chandler and interment followed there.
