Dies; Funeral Saturday

Funeral services for John D. Anderson, 56, a native of wilson county and formerly an employe og the Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis railway, will be held from the homeof his sister, Mrs. H. J. Litchford, 1201 Stratton avenue this morning t 11:30 o'clock. Dr. b. B. Peninton will be in charge of the services.
Mr. Anderson died at the home of his sister, who he had been visiting friday mornin at 6:20 following a stroke of paralysis.He was born and reared in Wilson county and had made this county his home until three years ago when he wen to New York City to be employed by the Loft Candy Co. Mr. Anderson was a member of the Methodist church.
He is srvived by two sisters, Mrs. H. J. Litchford and Miss Betty Anderson and two brothers, Charles O. Anderson of New York and Joseph E. Anderson of Houston, Tex.
Burial will be held in the Mt. Olivet cemetery. The following men will serve as pallbearers; William G. Davis,Clarence Woosley, William Litchford,Thomas Durrett, Boyd Durrett and Turney Anderson.
