James Massey, 85, died Saturday in Lincoln Regional Hospital after a long illness. The service was Monday at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. The Rev. Ralph Riddle officiated and burial was in Blanche Cemetery.
A native of Madison County, Ala. he was the son of the late William and Mary Jane Andres Massey and a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ezella Billings of Florida; a brother, Johnnie Massey of Huntsville, Ala.; an adopted brother, Willie B. Pylant of Ardmore and a grandson.
