PASSED AWAY AT HOME OF HER SISTER, MRS. W. H. THOMASON AFTER A LONG ILLNESS
Mrs. Rose Moore, wife of James G. Moore, passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. H. Thomason, Sunday night, February 22, Death was caused by tuberculosis from which she had suffered for some time.
Rose Fessler was born in Eddyville, Iowa, February 28, 1869, and has she lived until Saturday she would have been 51 years old. In the spring of 1886 she moved with her parents to Villisca and has been resident of this vicinity ever since.
On June 28, 1899, she was united in marriage to James G. Moore, who is left to mourn his loss. Besides her husband, she is survived by 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from the home of W. H. Thomason. Burial was made in the Villisca Cemetery.
