Daughter of Robert C. and Sally L. Ward Davis, she married Walter W. Schraeder, was a homemaker, lived at 151 17th Ave, Longview, died in St. John's Hospital of uremia, diabetes, chronic pyelonephritis, and emphysema, per death certificate 24866, whose informant was her husband. Buried Nov 9 1970.

Mrs. Ethel Eloise Absher Schraeder, 64, 151 17th Ave., Longview, died Nov. 5 in a Longview Hospital. She was born Sept. 7, 1906, in Portland.

She came to this area from Rainier in 1930. She was a member of the ILWU Local No. 14 Auxiliary, and the ILWU Pensioner's Group.

Surviving are he husband, Walter W., at home; a step-son, James L. Schraeder of Castle Rock; four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Martin, Mrs. Iris Johnson, and Mrs. Dorothy Heikka, all of Longview, and Mrs. Carrie Blixseth of Roseburg, OR; a brother, Robert O. Davis of Longview; a step-grandson; 4 step-great-grandchildren; and 19 nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 pm Monday in Steele Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Holloway officiating. Interment will be in Longview Memorial Park.
