Dorothy Marie Titus, 91, of Overland Park, Kansas, formerly of Burlington, died at 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2004, at Select Specialty Hospital in Overland Park.

Born August 28, 1919, in Wever, she was the daughter of Henry and Anna Gieselman Miller. On August 22, 1936, she married Milton C. Titus in Burlington. He died May 27, 1997.

Mrs. Titus worked for the Burlington School District.

She was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Rowley of Deltona, Florida and Jerrien Ann Hill of Overland Park, Kansas; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother, Henry Miller of Wever; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Prugh's Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral for Mrs. Titus will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Prugh's Chapel, with the Rev. Kirk Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
