FUNERAL OF GRANDMA WHITMORE SUNDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Josephine Whitmore, who died at the home of her son, Ray Whitmore, in this city, July 29, were held at the Baptist church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock p.m., Rev H. S. Hammann officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Hammann, accompanied by Mrs. Cecil Yeisley, sang "beautiful Becoming Hands" and "Blessed Lights of Home." Mrs. Hammann sang a solo, "City Four Square." The pallbearers were: C. D. Osborne, H. C. Rich, J. C. Bugher, J. H. York, Ed Thornton and P. H. Cotton. The flower bearers were: Pauline Whitmore, Elizabeth Donaldson, Leah John, Gladys Bugher, Arline Eldridge, Kathleen Bailey, Loraine Cotton and Alice Bugher. Interment was in Highland cemetery under the direction of the James Undertaking company.
Daughter of Wiley Jones and Sarah West Johnson; wife of Thomas Whitmore.
