--He married #2 Mary Veazy on August 18, 1818 in Putnam County, GA. She apparently died in the early 1820s.

--Occupation: Farmer in Jones County, GA in 1820 and 1830. He then moved his family to Stewart County, where he farmed in 1840. In 1850, widowed, he lived alone in Augusta, GA where he was a shopkeeper. He had returned to Stewart County by 1860 and was then living in the home of his daughter Martha.
--He fought in the Creek Indian Wars in Randolph and Stewart counties in the 1830s.
