Guido D. Lenardo, M.D., 88 of Park Ridge, passed away Oct. 27, 2011. He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty"; dear father of Maryanne, Michael M.D.(Lesley), Guy, Elizabeth (Salvatore) Celeste, Timothy M.D. (Noell), Eugene and the late Gregory; loving grandfather of Brian, Timothy, Gabriel, Olivia, Evan, Matthew, Zachary and Audrey; fond brother of John; son of Mario and Anna; graduate of Loyola University with Doctor of Medicine and Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law; first class of interns at Resurrection Hospital and served the local community as a physician for 35 years; avid golfer at Ridgemoor Country Club and lifelong student of the sciences. Visitation Sunday 3 to 9 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road (at Cumberland), Park Ridge. Funeral Monday 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to Mary, Seat of Wisdom Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association or Loyola Stritch School of Medicine preferred.
