In loving memory of my sister. On March 22, 1923, the death angel visited the home of Mr. J.N. Goswick and taken from them their loving wife and mother. Death came, though not unexpected, at 10 minutes to one. She had the dreaded disease, tuberculosis, and was confined to her bed 88 days...

She leaves three little girls and one adopted son...She professed a hope in Christ at about the age of 14 years and joined the Baptist church at Zion Hill; at the time of her death was a member at Bethlehem.

She was laid to rest at Friendship after funeral services conducted by Revs. Mangum and Anderson. Besides her husband and children, she leaves a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Green, four brothers, I.S. Green of Chamblee, J.H. Green of near Atlanta, Walton Green and Marcus Green of this county, and two sisters, Mrs. M.H. Dukes of Decatur, and Mrs. J.E. Bearden of this county.

Written by her sister, Mrs. J.E. Bearden.
