Deceased Name: Nellie Mabel Knight A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, in Cornwell Colonial Chapel in Woodburn for Nellie Mabel Knight, who died Feb. 17 at age 88.
Mrs. Knight was born Nov. 25, 1912, on a ranch in Saskatchewan. Her maiden name was Barbanoff, which later was changed to Barton. She immigrated in 1925 to Washington, lived in California before moving in 1945 to Aurora and owned a berry farm in Broadacres for about 24 years until 1977. She was a member of Woodburn Church of the Nazarene. In 1932, she married Everett R. Knight; he died in 1974.
Survivors include her son, James.
Interment is in Belle Passi Cemetery.
