GIRL DIES 24 HOURS AFTER GRANDFATHER
A 69-year resident of Bonneauville, and his 6- year old granddaughter dies with 24 hours of each other.
A double funeral will be held on Thurday morning.
Vincent Bernard Orndorff, 69, died at his home, Bonneauville, Monday morning at 2:15 o'clock. Death was due to complication of diseases. He was a son of the late Charles and Catherine Orndorff and was married in 1886 to Alice Topper. He was a mason by trade and was a member of the Adams county firemen's association. Mr. Orndorff was also affiliated with the Beneficiary society of St. Joeseph's Catholic church, Bonneauville.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Virginia Cohee, Sparrows Point Edward Orndorff, West Chester; Mrs. Helen Weaver, Hanover R.5 Mrs. Regina Smith, Raymond, Lawrence, and Earl Orndorff, McSherrystown. One brother, Frank Orndorff, Hanover, also survives.
Funeral services Thursday morning with a high requiem mass at 9 o'clock in St. Joseph's Catholic church, Bonneauville, the Rev. Father O' Hanrahan, rector, officiating. Interment in St. Joseph's cemetery, Bonneauville.
