Phyllis Berdine Aadson was born to John and Meady (Haugen) Aadson on June 17th 1926 in Lily South Dakota. She was baptized and confirmed at Lily. She attended grade school in Lily and later moved to Minneapollis, Mn. where she worked for a time.
She married John Perley MacRae on February 18th, 1948 in Webster, South Dakota. She was a very special woman. She lived with the pain of rheumatoid arthritis since the age of 17, but put all of her strength and love into raising her children. Her pain is gone now and she rests peacefully with her Lord. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.Together with her husband John, they had 7 children, Marcia, Gary Allen, John L., Mary Ann, Dallas L., Brenda Jean, and Terry Rae. She passed away on May 3rd, 1998 in Sultan, Washington from Multiple Myeloma.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, John MacRae of Sultan WA; three daughters, Marcia (Ben) Wright of Sultan, WA, Mary (Russ) Jensen of Auburn, WA., and Brenda (Mark) Ross of Federal Way, WA; two sons, John L (Renda) of Yuma, AZ and Dallas of Sultan, WA; four brothers, Raymond Aadson of Kiester, MN, Donald (Mary) of Hanover, Illinois, Elroy Vercel (Bobbie) of Prattsville Alabama, and Maynard (Noreen) of Rapid City, South Dakota; two sisters, Delores Solberg of Webster and Joyce (Howard) Fryett of Oregon City, Oregon; Eight grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter Kayla. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, one brother, and two sisters.
