Martha Aldrich was born on June 9, 1759 in Smithfield, Providence County, Rhode Island. Her parents were Sylvanus Aldrich and Dorothy Smith. She married Stephen Olney (Son of Stephen Olney and Mary Whipple) around 1773. They had seven children named Cyrus, Rufus, William, Nathan, Mary (Mrs. William Almy), Deborah (Mrs. Daniel Sturtevant), and Stephen. Martha died on March 28, 1846 in Warren, warren County, Pennsylvania.
