Leo M. Colson was born on June 12, 1918 in Spring Brook Township in Kittson County, MN, the son of Swan and Ingrid (Peterson) Colson. He grew up and attended school in a country school in Spring Brook Township.
Leo served in the U.S. Military for a short time during WWII.
He married Hilma Agman on February 20, 1943. He worked for Midland Coop for over 30 years as a truck driver before retiring.
Leo enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, listening to talk shows on TV, reading the paper, being around people, being part of the men's breakfast club at Augustana Lutheran Church and many other church activities. Leo had been a member of the Augustana Lutheran Church since 1962.
He will be greatly missed.

Son: Larry Colson – El Paso, Texas
Sister: Ardell Chase – Woodburn, Oregon
Grandchildren: Rocco Colson – Brooklyn Park, Minnesota
Jennifer Colson – Clackamas, Oregon
Great Grandchildren: Taylor and Chase
Leo was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Larry Duane and a sister, Eunice Olsonoski.

Visitation: Monday, October 17, 2011, 1:00 PM at Augustana Lutheran Church.
Inurnment: Oak Hill Cemetery, Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN.
