Born August 4, 1930 in Streator he was the son of George and Anna (Handzo) Plesko.
He is survived by a brother, Ronald (Mary Ann) Plesko of Streator; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Philip Plesko; and sisters, Sally Winebriner, Rose Ramme and Marion Gotch.
Born and raised in Streator he attended Wilson School and Streator High School.
He served in the United States Navy.
He worked through the years for Anthony Company and later Vactor Manufacturing from where he retired.
He was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Streator.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
