Elgie May Watson, 77, of Oark died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.

She was a daughter of the late George Tommy and Ethel Simmons Young, widow of Clay Watson, Baptist, and was preceded in death by one son, Hartsel Watson.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruby and Joe Wood of Oark and Lorene and Joe Clark of Winslow; one brother and sister-in-law, Olen and Grace Young of Deer; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Mossville Church with Rev. George Farquhar officiating.

Burial will be in Mossville Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Gary Clark, Kelly Tenison, Gary Young, Travis Wood, Eddie Skaggs, and Joe Wood.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joel Wood, Doug Pelfrey, Tracy Jones, Joe Clark, Bart Ledgerwood, Don Smith, and Tommy Young.

Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
