BENNINGTON RESIDENT, FORMER LEGISLATOR, EXPIRES AT HOSPITAL
L. Alden Graves of Woodford and Bennington, Vt., a former member of the Vermont State Legislature, died late yesterday at the Putnam Memorial Hospital, Bennington, following a short illness. Born in Bennington, he lived in that village for the greater part of his life, until several years ago when he moved to Woodford.
He attended Bennington private schools, Worcester Academy of Worcester, Mass., and Vermont Academy. He was connected with the First National Bank of Bennington for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ledeska A. Gardner Graves and two sons, Louis G. and Luther A., all of Bennington.
