EL CAMPO - Elwin B. Ellison, 88, of El Campo, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002.
He was born July 25, 1914, in El Campo, to the late William and Myrtle Clark Ellison. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a retired rural mail carrier. He was a member of Elks, VFW, American Legion and First Christian Church of El Campo.
Survivors: daughter, Margaret Wilson of El Campo; sisters, Neva Wilson and Vera Olson, both of El Campo; brother, Homer Ellison of Rosenberg; and one grandchild.
Preceded in death by: wife, May Alene Baker Ellison; parents; sister, Velma Ellison; brothers, Virgil Ellison and Verral Ellison; and grandson, Travis Wilson.
Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. tonight at Wheeler Funeral Home chapel.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church of El Campo, the Rev. Keith Gibbons officiating.
