Funeral Rites Held For James S. Brown, 85
Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. for James S. Brown, 85, who died Wednesday at his home on the Moore's Bridge Road. The services were held from the Mt. Zion Church near Brownville with the Rev. Clifton Wheat officiating.
He is survived by five sons, W.H. and C.L. of Brownville, D.T. of Northport, John C. and Howard of Coker; one brother, Dave of Coker; one sister, Mrs. Fanny Gray of Birmingham; 41 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
