Georgie Mary (Dixon) Steiding, 83, was the daughter of Dr. Arthur P. Dixon and Ellen M. Daisy, of Cumberland, Maryland. She was educated and worked in the Human Resource Department for Allegany County, Maryland. She was a DAR Member under her relative Michael Kershner. Georgie was very involved with the Animal Center of Cumberland, Md. She married Frederick Dean Steiding. Georgie and Fred had one daughter Susan Dixon Steiding born 11 August 1948. They lived on Luteman Drive in Cumberland and previous to that they lived on Fayette Street & they moved to Garrett County for a few years. Susan married Lee Osmansky of Cumberland.
