Sarah's place of death provided by:Dianna (Hale) Mattingly & Glenda (May) Crawford (April 1, 2002)."Sarah is buried in the McComb Family Cemetery located at Franklin Township; Section 21, Township 40 North, Range 15 West, Miller County, MO. She is the only grave here and to get to this single grave go from Eldon south towards Lake of the Ozarks on highway 54. At the stoplight, at the access to Bagnell Dam and Y roads, the road also goes to the left, which is Osage Hills Road. Go down Osage Hills Road for 1.45 miles to Sanders Road. This cemetery is gone and is now covered by the golf course, etc. The record is taken from the Miller County Records. Research has thought this to be the McComb Family Cemetery."

"Sarah Evans was born to Arden Evans Jr and Milly.
On November 14, 1800, in Kingston, Roane County, Tennessee JACOB SHAW McCOMB married SARAH "SALLY" HAYDEN EVANS (b~February 6, 1785, Wilkes County, Georgia, d~1845 Miller County, Missouri. They had 13 children, all born in Roane County, Tennessee. "
