He was born Nov. 20, 1879, in Richmond, to Ira and Harriet Ann Harris Hogan.
On Nov. 20, 1907, he married Ida May Williams in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He served a mission to the Southern States.
Surviving are his widow and the following sons and daughters, Kendle W. Hogan, Richland, Wash.; Robert Hogan, Butte, Mont.; Mrs. Russell (Florence) Evans, Council, Idaho; Mrs. Ralph J. (Phyllis) Marriott, Soda Springs, Idaho; Mrs. Orin C. (Edythe) Lindhardt, Grace, Idaho; Mrs. Tom (Gladys) Beall, Portland, Ore.; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; brothers Grover C. and Owen M. Hogan both of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Monday noon at 260 East South Temple where friends may call this evening from 6 to 8 o'clock and Monday prior to services. Burial will be in Logan City Cemetery.
