Rapid City Journal-- Verna Steele Gannon 80 of Rapid City died Tuesday May 8 2001 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. She is survived by her husband Richard Gannon of rapid City,four sons James Flynn ,Michael Flynn, John and Errol Flynn all of Rapid City. Three daughters Margaret Clement of Jackson, Ohio, Darlene La Roche and Joann Badwound both of Rapid City, and one sister Gladyes Shangreau of Pine Ridge. 31 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. She was preceded in her death by her parents Harry and Jennie Yellowbird Steele two sons Harold Steele and Charles D. Parkhurst 3rd, three brothers Jack,Harry and Darrel Steele and one sister Blossom Jones
