Mary Rosella (Clanahan) Sellers was born on 18 Jan 1889 in Alabama to George Washington Clanahan and Harriet Mary "Missy" (Bonner) Clanahan and died on 27 Jul 1975 in Choctaw County, Alabama. She was 86 years old. She married Cage Sellers on 10 Jan 1912 in Choctaw County, Alabama. Cage died during the Great Depression and left Mary with seven children to bring up. Cage and Mary had three daughters and four sons: Mary Leona, Chester Armistead, Clarence Wilmer, Woodrow Wilson, Gertrude, and twins Donald and Dorothy.
At the time of her death, Mary was preceded in death by possibly: her parents; her husband, Micajah Lafayette "Cage" Sellers; her son, Woodrow Sellers; granddaughters, Infant Sellers and Mary Dorris Mozingo; grandson, Gerald "Shorty" James; and great-grandson, Edward Lee Sellers. She was survived by three daughters and three sons; thirty-seven grandchildren; and fifty-two great-grandchildren.
