Cage and Mary had three daughters and four sons: Mary Leona, Chester Armistead, Clarence Wilmer, Woodrow Wilson, Gertrude, and twins Donald and Dorothy.
At the time of her death, Mary was preceded in death by possibly: her parents; her husband, Micajah Lafayette "Cage" Sellers; her son, Woodrow Sellers; granddaughters, Infant Sellers and Mary Dorris Mozingo; grandson, Gerald "Shorty" James; and great-grandson, Edward Lee Sellers. She was survived by three daughters and three sons; thirty-seven grandchildren; and fifty-two great-grandchildren.
