MRS. BENDICKSON RITES

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Moon Chapel for Pauline Bendickson who died Saturday in Bonner General Hospital. The Rev. Paul Ranum, pastor of the Newport Lutheran church officiated and interment was in Pinecrest.

Mrs. Bendickson was born on April 30, 1887 in Sturgeon Bay, Wis. She came here as a young woman and was married here to Ole Bendickson , who died in February of 1947. Her home was at 314 Huron. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary.

Surviving are two daughters, Bernice Thompson, Sandpoint, and Patricia Gayle Plunkett of Spokane, Wash.; a son, Robert of Sandpoint, Also surviving are a brother, Helmer Peterson, and a sister, Julia Mickelson, both of Green Day, Wisconsin. A Grandson, Phil Bendickson, Portland, Oregon and a granddaughter, Adrian Flessas, Portland, also survive as do three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bendickson was the daughter of the Late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Peterson who came here in 1900 and were prominent in Sandpoint for many years.
