She had ten siblings as follows: Enga Anderson, Doris Aune, Alice (Clyde) Anderson, Selma, Olga, Adolph T., Peter, Bert, Selmer Edwin (4 Apr 1916-Sep 1975) and Victory.
Bertha graduated in 1942 from Glyndon High School.She married Alfred John Juve on October 31, 1951 at the Bethania Lutheran Church rural Perley. They were married by Pastor Carl K. Randoy.
After their marriage Alfred and Bertha farmed near Perley for many years, raising dairy and beef cows and small grains. Bertha worked for Moorhead Marine, making boats for some time before retiring. They moved to Ada, MN and after Alfred's death in 1976, she continued to live at home until moving to the Ada Care Community in November of 2004.
While she lived in Ada she worked for Faye's Café. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ada and enjoyed going to the Ada Senior Center.
Alfred and Bertha were the parents of two sons, Daniel Keith 2 Oct 1944-living (Kim ___________ and Stephanie Rae Hegg) and Thomas Oliver 29 Jun 1946–23 Nov 1976 (Diane Cheryl Erickson 17 Aug 1948–10 Apr 2014), later divorced.
Alfred passed away 10 Jun 1976 at the Veterans' Hospital, Fargo, ND. Bertha passed away 23 Feb 2005 at the Bridges Care Community, Ada, MN. Funeral services were held at Zion Lutheran Church, Ada, MN on Saturday, March 12, 2005. She was buried in the spring of 2005 at the Bethania Cemetery next to Alfred.
