Nellie Francis Belville was born Feb. 3, 1886 in Schuyler County, Illinois to William and Margaret (Bodkin) Belville.
She lived most of her life in McDonough County, where she met and married Asa Cheesman in 1907.

Funeral services will be held 10:30am Monday at the family home.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Asa of the home; two sons, William and Ralph; four daughters, Beulah, Bertha, Pearl and Martha; three brothers George, Charles and Jesse Earl; one sister, Cora Wilson of Macomb.
