Frank was the 3rd oldest son of Luman and Mary Ann Chase Bowers, he was born October 14 1858 in Roxbury, WI. He married Josephine (Cina, Red haired) daughter of Lewis and Catherine LaBelle Bitney, she was born November 12, 1859. They had 5 children all born in Auburn, WI: Fred, Etta, Albert, Nellie and Oscar.
Josephine preceded him in death on November 12 1919 in Zion, Lake County, IL, he remarried Hattie Jennings after 1919. He was a school janitor and the constable of New Auburn, WI in his later years. He was survived by his children: Fred (Mae), Etta (Dillon) Flynn died on January 24, 1975 in Zion, IL, Albert (Bessie) died on June 14, 1954 in Rice Lake, WI, Nellie (Jessie) Phetteplace died on December 1978 in Chetek, WI, and Oscar Bowers, who was never married.
