Accident fatal to 5 year old
Alan Todd Price, age 5, the son of Mrs. Martha Boggs, Louisville and Tracy Price, Tampa Florida was killed at 5:30 pm August 25 when a wagon loaded with hay rolled over him on his grandfathers farm on Route 3, Greensburg, near Allendale.
Price, who lived with his grandfather Garland Loyall, had been following the wagon while hay was being put up. His half-brother Mike Lobb, age 9, was driving the tractor pulling the wagon when the accident occurred.
Other survivors are maternal grandmother Mrs. Leonard Lawson, Campbellsville. Paternal grandmother Mrs. Clarence Wright, Greensburg and great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Luke Simpson, Greensburg .
Funeral services were held at 10:30 am Thursday August 27 at Foster-Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Bishop officiating. Burial was in Chaudoin Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Michael Loyall, Gene Price and T.J. Hodges.
Honorary pallbearers were Norman Larimore, Garland Russell and Marshall Price.
