Services At Alden For Mrs. Henry Lesch
Funeral services were held at Alden Sunday afternoon at 2:30 for Mrs. Henry Lesch who died Friday at the family home nine miles south of Carnegie, after a lingering illness. Rev. T.T. Brown, pastor of the First Christian church at Carnegie, conducted the service and burial was in the Apache cemetery.
Ada Ruth Malone was born December 22, 1912 at Abbyville, Kansas. On October 2, 1932 she was married to Henry F. Lesch in the home of her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Baker at Nickerson, Kansas and to them were born two sons.
At the age of ten years she obeyed the Gospel, and became a member of the First Christian church in Abbyville and lived a consistent Christian life.
She died March 29, 1940, and is survived by immediate relatives, besides the husband, and two sons, Elbert Milton and Henry Franklin, Jr. The parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Malone of Lamar, Colorado; four sisters, Louella Malone of Denver, Colorado; Louise Petersen, Lamar, Colorado; Mrs. Marion Cawthon, and Mrs. Edwin Dennitt, Springfield, Colorado; three brothers, Everett Malone, Denver, Colorado; Clyde Malone, Lamar, Colorado; and Glen Malone, Manter, Kansas. her grandfather, W.W. Baker, Hutchison, Kansas, and many friends and acquaintances.
