IDA PEARL WHITLOCK

Ida Pearl Whiltock, daughter of the late Charlie Lile and Maggie Ennis Lile was born 20 Jan 1897 in Green Co., and departed this life at 1:30 pm Thurs. 15 Mar 1984 at the Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, Ind. She was 87 years, 1 month and 24 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church at the time of her death. She united in marriage to Henry Whitlock, who preceded her in death on 8 Nov 1962. To this union was born 1 daughter, Mae Cassady, of Ind.

Mrs. Whitlock is survived by 2 sisters: Mrs. Irene Kelly of Greensburg, Ky. and Mrs. Ruby Rubert of Ill. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The remains were at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 1:00 pm est Sunday, 18 Mar 1984 with burial in the Greasy Creek Cemetery. Rev. Wilburn Bonta officiated. Pallbearers were Ellis Shelton, Tommy VanArsdale, Richard Mills, Rex Kelly, Bernard Bagby, Loren Nunn and Tommy Donan.
