AUSTIN, Herman Lee Sr. "Yogi," 70, of Midlothian, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 6, 2010. He was preceded in death by his son, Herman Lee Austin Jr.; parents, Louise and Charles E. Austin Sr.; and a brother, Charles E. Austin Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cynthia H. Austin; daughters, Pamela A. Bush and her fianc‚, Bryan Shinault, and Cindy Mears; grandchildren, FC2 Mark A. Bush, Christopher R. Bush, Kelly D. Bush, and Adrian Martin; great-granddaughter, Araina Martin.
Herman retired from E. I. DuPont after 50 years of service and was a member of Cloverhill Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). His funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Entombment to follow in Dale Memorial Park. Flowers are appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to Cloverhill Baptist Church, 3100 Courthouse Rd., Richmond, Va. 23236.
