Henry A. "Teem" Sherrard, 87, a car inspector for the Louisville & Nashville Railroad for 33 years until his retirement in 1949, died at 5:22 a.m. Thursday at his home. Sherrard, 5308 Johnsontown Road, Valley Station, was born in Colesburg, Ky. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Walter Ragland and Mrs. Joseph Bowman; a son, Tony T. Sherrard; two sisters, Mrs. Mayme French, Colesburg, and Mrs. Dan Hammack; nine grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1:30 at the W. G. Hardy Valley Chapel, 10907 Dixie Highway, with burial in the South Jefferson Cemetery.
