John Connell Reppert the fifth child of John Christian and Sara Jane "Jennie" (Connell) Reppert was born May 18,1890 in Rich Hill, Bates Co., Missouri.
In 1900, he, his mother and siblings are living in Rich Hill, Bates Co., Missouri his father having died in 1895. In 1910 John and his mother and siblings have moved to Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri and he is shown as a teamster working in a warehouse.
By 1920 John, age 29, is a fireman on the Frisco Railroad and living with his younger brother Clarence and his brothers wife.
In April of 1930 when the census was taken John, age 40, was living in a rooming house and was listed as a brakeman on the railroad. John served in the First World War in the Transportation Corp, as a corporal.
John died Dec 15,1930 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., having never married, and is buried in Greenlawn Cemetery, in Rich Hill, Bates Co., Missouri with his parents.
